I-134 question

I just sent my petition in last week so I'm sure it will be at least 4 or 5 months until my fiance has her interview. My question is, is it too early to start getting my stuff together for the I-134? I didn't know if the affidavit and/or letters from banks and employers had to be dated within a certian amount of time of your interview. It's not really explained anywhere as far as I could see.

Hi Jbiel590, I waited untill I received the letter from the embassy for the medical and interview to ask for employer letter and banks. They do ask for recent or up-to-date. As far as your affidavit, yeah, you can start filling it out and gathering info.
