  • filing of K1 application incomplete

hi y'all...im new here. I have a question, my Fiance filed our I-129F application together with the money order last August 19,2009 in VSC. the problem is he forgot to include the G-325 forms and the evidence of our relationships in the envelop. is that mean that our application will revoke or they will give us a notification that we need to send the G-325 form application that we missed to send. we are starting to get worried coz it's been a week already and we never hear anything from the USCIS, anyone here could give an advice? thanks.

Do you have your receipt number? If so, I would highly suggest immediately submitting all of your documentation along with a letter referencing your receipt number and hope that they will supplement it to your I-129F. Otherwise, they will most likely deny your case outright. It happened to me - so I know

Not hearing from USCIS in a week isn't unusual.

I wouldn't send anything else until they contact you by mail asking for it. It's called a Request for Evidence. You would send the evidence asked for, along with sheet they send to a specific address found in their letter. They use that to match up the additional documents with your case.

Sending additional evidence you thought of that they haven't requested would probably never get matched up with your file. If you didn't get it right the first time, then wait to hear from them.

            Fyi

Just so you aren't waiting (like I am now.......for the approval) You won't be asked for more evidence for like for 2-3 months from now.......
