K1 Approved-Next Steps

Hi Everyone,
I have few questions, please help:

I just got an email notice about my approval and waiting for the notice letter in mail. Just wanted to know what are the next steps that I or my Fiance in India has to do? Does she has to apply for the Visa or the US Embassy will contact her on its own?

Also, due to the current economic downturn I was laid off from my job...and I am currently on UC benefits. Would this affect the Visa interview or application in any way?

Me and my Fiance were also planning to travel Europe before coming in US on her Fiance visa, as it will be a while before we get her travel permit. And also it will save us some money. So, can it be a problem when we enter US and can the Immigration officer question our vacation?

The Embassy will contact your fiance with instructions on what to do next,

and there's no problem with you and your fiance going for a visit to europe, as long as she only uses her K1 to gain entry to the US when you return from that vacation, its only good for one entry, and once she's in, if she wants to leave before her status is adjusted to permanent resident, she needs to apply fo advanced parole

Yes, we will use K1 just once for entry and so planned that we should take a vacation before entering the US.

Can anybody tell me about the Financial Support? I have a house(loan), Car, bank balance and an good credit history, with zero debts. But I was recently laid off from my job because of the recession, can this be an issue during the interview or in our application on general basis?
