  • Fiance visa - marriage question

Ok, since you wonderful ppl helped me out last time with my questions you're all so fantastic I have another one. My sister brought this to my attention. Let's say the fiance visa is approved in the US and by my fiance's govt'... I know they give you so much amount of time to be married I believe 90 days. So my question is -

Once everything is approved are we able to be married in his country or is it the US only that we can be married in on this type of visa?

    Thank you in advance!

A Fiance visa K1, is only good for a fiance to enter the US to be married in the US.

If you marry in his country, then he is no longer a fiance at the time he enters the US with a visa. He would be your spouse, so he would need a spouse visa K3.

Even if your finace visa is approved on both ends, i know they give you 90 days to marry, i couldn't just marry him anywhere? also if that happens and we do have to do spouse visa, what proofs would be needed for the marriage besides the marriage certificate.??
