I'm just sick to my stomach.....I learned that after the USCIS has approved your K1 Visa.....it will be at least 3 months from that date Your Love will be home......this just sucks......he can't come here, and I can't go there. Why isn't it the same way for all US Embassy's.....in other countries. Why is it that France takes longer! Why is it every time we turn around we have to wait for news for the next step. I swear the Government here in the US wants people to just crack up! I miss My Honey so much....TO have to wait another 2 months.....I just want to cry my eyes out every f'n second. A day feels like a week without each other.

I work full time and was there for 9 days in April...I only get two weeks of vacation
Yep two weeks vacation and that's it. I'd love to quit right now if I could and go to France right now....can't cuz of the process : (. You would think that every us embassy would follow the same guidlines but they don't

heys francksgirl, where did you learn it was 3 months ?
It should take around 3 weeks from when ur visa is approved to receive to the notification from the Embassy in France, then once all your documents are together, and you mail them to the embassy, 4 - 6 weeks wait for an interview appoitment ?
all in all i'd say if you have all the documents ready it should really be no longer than 2 months, also, see question below from FAQ on Paris Embassy Website
I need an interview urgently because: I’ve booked airline tickets; or I can’t be separated from my spouse/fiancé(e)/children; or I’ve sold my home/business; or I’m pregnant; or I’ve booked my wedding in the us; or
Other.
Each application is important to us, so we schedule interviews on a “first come, first served” basis depending on when we receive notification of applicant readiness for an interview. Appointments are scheduled on the earliest possible date. If you need an earlier appointment, we can put you on a waiting list for any appointments that become vacant, again on a “first come, first served” basis.
