Not sure if you can help me, but I'll try. I am a US citizen, currently living in Sweden with my girlfriend since 4 year. We met in LA in 2005, lived together there and then moved to Sweden where she's from. We are now
planning to get married and move back to Los Angeles. We would love to get married in LA where we met, but it seems hard... Thought the K1 visa was for us, since we are now engaged and intend to marry, but since we are living together her in Sweden, guess not. Talked to USCIS and they said that I have to be in US to file... make no sense. Should be exemptions? Do you have any idea what we can do? Another visa?
