  • K1 ques for foreign fiancee address and preparer

    Address
My foreign fiancée’s house does not have a mailing address. However, one of her relatives has a box that the post office can deliver to.

On the I-129F it requires the fiancée’s address (Number and Street) in two places: Part B Line 2, and Part B Line 15. Why are there two different places for address? Should I use her relative’s postal box address in one or both places? I would think I need to use the postal box somewhere since that’s the only place she could receive mail from the embassy, but I am wondering is the form asking for a physical address since it has “Number and Street”.

On G-325 form it asks for the applicant’s address for the past five years. In this case, what should my fiancée put as the current address?

I want to make sure she gets the mail and that there is no discrepancy of information if she is required to use a house address, even though mail is not delivered at her house.

    Preparer’s info
My fiancée does not read English, though she speaks it. One of her relatives will assist her in filing out the G325 form and writing the letter of intent to send to me here in the U.S. Would this require the relative to acknowledge (sign) that he helped her fill out forms and write the letter? This is not a translation from their language to English since she does speak English.
