Paris: When do I send DS-156/DS-156K/DS-157? Help needed.

Hello ALL,

I am new on this forum but have been coming to immihelp for a minute now.

My fiance lives in the U.S. and I am in Paris.

The fiance visa petition was approved in early september and I recently sent form DS-230 to the embassy, along with copies of my passport.

In the "packet" I received from the embassy, nothing is specified as regards when to send DS-156/DS-156K and DS-157.

Could anyone, please, tell me what to do about these forms? From what I understood, I have to gather all the documents required with these forms and keep everything til the interview date. But I just may be wrong.

We sent packet three back that included the checklist, ds-2001, and part 1 of ( I think) the ds-130 it's called. Have you received packet four yet? The rest of the forms should be taken to your interview. My Honey ic in Paris too! We sent packet 3 back October 7th....

I sent ds-230 part 1 as soon as i could and sent ds 2001 a few days ago, since i recently collected all the documents needed. So technically, I sent everything on oct 20th.

What do you mean by checklist?

Sorry to worry you! The DS-2001 form is the paper that you signed that is the checklist! (sorry!) tomorrow is 3 weeks since we the Embassy received our packet 3....we still have nothing just want My Love home for Thanksgiving!!! I missssssss him sooooooooo much
