  • question on forms

i just want to double check on which forms i need to move over to the US to live with my fiancee and get married over there.
i think i have them all but i wanted to make sure i have them all before i go over to visit in Febuary, also if anyone can answer, who starts the process initially, me or her?
sorry if it seems a question already covered but i have read so many posts here that i can't see the wood for the trees now and this is something that needs to be done right as you will agree.

i thank you for your time.

care to list the forms you do have and perhaps folks would find that easier to comment on. Also, I have seen too many unanswered threads here and just a few where folks are more forthcoming with their time lines and things of that nature and they seem to get some responses.

Try sharing more and see if that will help.
Having said that, I thread has all my info and no "lookers" either. So, what do I know, eh?

      good point Bernie

when i go back to the states in febuary for a visit i am taking a copy of I-129F, petition for alien fiance and several copies of G-325A, biographic information and we will be filiing these out together so i was wondering if we will need any other forms to start the process.
plus i know that my fiancee will need to pay for the visa at the start but i also think that at the interview i will need to pay some $ too so how much from the UK end of things.
sorry to bore you with silly questions but i need this to be right first time as you can all understand.

      thank you

You can see my post in this forum with some UK costs added that might help you budget.

I'm not going to take the time to answer your question about the forms and application process and supporting evidence to send because it's very well detailed in the information section of this website. Look at the menu tab call "Visas" and do some research.

You will be fingerprinted several times. At the K1/K3 interview (DOS) and then again at the POE (Customs & Border Patrol of DHS). And who knows, perhaps at AOS too. Our intra agency and inter agency communications still leave a lot to be desired.

would voluntary bankrupcy have an adverse effect on a K1 vias app?
