Hey everyone
it's been a few months since I've been on the forum. Anyway, my husband was approved at the embassy in Dakar and if it is the will of God, will be traveling and arriving Friday morning. We did go the cr1 route and it was not bad so thanks Nichole for the guidance you gave a few months ago. Everything worked out fine. Does anyone no how it is arriving at washington dulles airport? what is the process my husband will have to go through once he is there? what should he expect? many questions I know but will not be right until we are in each other's arms again. Anyone with info , i welcome your comments. Thanks to everyone and Good Luck

Sorry, never have come in through IAD. So, cannot answer any of your specific questions. However, let me share just one bit below.

You will be allowed to have your spouse in the US Citizen/GC line though and that is big given the long lines (at least at JFK/ATL) for visitors, esp if you have a connecting flight out as well that same day. I took my wife through this section of passport control at JFK with a K3 and no issues. Lowered the stress levels immensely.

Hey thanks for the advice and I am happy to say that my husband arrived Friday afternoon. He came through Washington Dulles. said the people were nice however the security was kind of long. missed a few flights but finally made it. I am soooooooo happy and relieved. it's been long and I was getting crazy but thank God it is over. First few days have been great although he is not use to this weather but it will be fine. Good luck again to you and everyone because this forum was a BIG HELP for me
