  • Pictures for K1 AOS I485, I131, I765, G325a

When filing for the adjustment of status after we were married withing 90 days we are planning on filing everything at once.

Each one of the forms, I485, I131, I765, G325a all ask for 2 passport style photos. Do we need to get 8 photos?? Or is two all we need??? I would think you only need two, but I would rather be sure before we send it all in.

Thanks for you assistance, it is greatly appreciated.

    Mike

Looking at this link for "Assembling the Application"

it once again looks like I only need 2 photos. I really just want to make sure I do not do anything wrong. I don't think it can hurt to submit 6 photos, so I might just do that to be safe.

      Thanks,
      Mike

That is just for I-485 application.

You will have to look into other applications as well accordingly.

It is 6 photos. Two for each application.

You have three applications, that will be separated and processed in different locations:

          I-485 for the green card
I-131 for travel until you get the green card
I-765 for work authorization until you get the green card

Make each of the above like a stand-alone application. Paperclip them separately (along with their accompanying documents) into 3 "bundles". Mail them in the same envelope with one check.

There are supporting documentations G-325a, I-864, I-693, etc. that go with the I-485 adjustment of status application, as well as a few that go with the travel and work authorization applications. If you read the instructions from the USCIS that come with each application, they will tell you what to put with each one. In some cases, the instructions are separate documents from the application forms so always looks for instructions to download from USCIS too.
