I am planning to petition my bf in the philippines for a k-1 visa. I am a naturalized U.S Citizen through my father and I was wondering if I was able to petition him after only working for a year. I am currently a caregiver, 23 years old...and my current tax is through 1099, although my income is beyond the poverty line. We have been together for almost 2 years now and Ive been going back in fort in the philippines atleast twice a year. I do not wish to get a lawyer but I am very concern regarding my taxes for I know this is also one of the main requirements on this process. If you guys can get back at me, I'd greatly appreciate it!
