another letter came in today stating that NVC is forwarding my I129F to my fiance's consulate for further processing within a week where they will then mail her the packet containing a list of docs she needs. Can someone tell me if everything is going smoothly now? =D

Glad that things are going well. Look for that Case Number - Having that enables a speedy path to an interview.

hit a snag >< apparently she needs a police report from two locations that stayed in over a year above the age of 16. One from China and she's in Taiwan so thats the only thing thats holding this app up. Is there a timeline in which i have to be worried about?

i think its anywhere you stay for more than a year above the age of 16 you'll need one. So i'm going to say yes, post on the main forum, hahaha you'll get a better answer =)

All thats holding us up right now is the i 134 which i just fedex expressed it to my fiance. She's already had her interview and the guy told her its ok, to just drop off the I134 when she gets it....is there still a chance for denial?

4/7/10 The taiwanese Consulate is going to mail something to her. I'm hopping its the Visa...but could it be a rejection notice also? Anyone?

                              smooth as a baby's bottom.

But, then again what do I know - we got both approved, got the NIV case number, no notification from anyone at NVC or consulate, and got her interview scheduled over the phone using her Case Number.
