May I visit my fiance while I129F is processing USA-UK-USA and Vice Versa

May i visit my fiance in the UK and he come visit me in USA while our visa is processing? I am unclear on this information. Do we need prior approval and from whom? How does this affect our visa processing if at all.

Hi Colleen

I know people have different takes on this but I'm also in the UK and since we filed in May 2009 I have visited my fiance in the US twice and he has been here to the UK to see me three times.
At no time did we come up against any problems.
