Multiple Checks - Just do it...

Hello All,

I just wanted to let you all know that even when it says you can right one check ($930 for A.O.S and $80 for Biometrics) for $1,010... DON'T!!

My filing was rejected because I did not submit separate checks even though their instructions write IN BOLD that you can write one check.

Moral of the story, don't be cheap, or lazy, just write as many checks as you have too...

I hope this saves someone else the massive headache that I just went through.

One check worked for my wife's AOS.

She has not completed the proces yet but has completed the biometrics and recieved the work authorization card. I am going to be pissed if they wait to reject us for using one check at the green cardinterview.

I was FURIOUS when I got the rejection, it took every ounce of my being to not go ballistic on the USCIS phone attendant.

Her words "well I guess some people that check the files when they first come in don't accept just one check"

So it varies by person... very very very frustrating...
