  • Submitting the I-129F

I've double (and triple) checked all of my forms and documents for submitting the 129F for my fiancee. I have copies of her passport, my birth certificate, proof of having met within the past 2 years (photos, receipts, emails, etc). i have completed and signed G-325A's for both of us. Original passport-style color photos for both of us, and a cover letter for the whole packet.

This may sound like a stupid question, but is there a right way or a wrong way to submit this paperwork? Should everything be stapled, clipped, or binded together in any way? Should I pit everthing into a file folder?

I'm trying to ensure, ahead of time, that everything goes as smoothly as possible before I send them my $455! If there is anything that I am overlooking, please feel free to offer your advice or suggestions. My goal is to get everything in the mail after the weekend.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

    Eric

You didn't mention having, but need original statements from you and your fiance that you intend to marry within 90 days.

Thanks, Nichole for the information. I failed to mention those statements in my original post but, yes, I do have them already completed.

        Submitting the I-129F

        Hi Eric,

After getting some legal advice I placed all my documents into a folder that
has binding (2) at the top, section all the documents in some logical order and seperate each section using colored paper and attach label tabs.
Each section would contain; 'Legal Forms' 'Pictures' 'Personal Letters' 'Financial Info' ect...which the tabs locate. This will make it easier
for the inspector to go through your package, place the cover letter on top
and your package is set to go, be sure and make an exact copy for later.
The more professionally organized you make it, the better.

        Hope this helps,
        PShadow

On the letter of intents i filled out, i put my residential address (of where my fiance will live) and on her (since you need one from her as well as yourself) i put her residential address. Pretty much on this site, they have everything you need, all you have to do is click print and fill in the information. This is my first time doing it and so far its gone over pretty smooth. My paperwork got sent to NVC just a couple of days ago with no hold up. I have a time line up on the events that have taken place. Check it

Accuracy is a must in this case or else you'll be put on hold forever. From what i read and what i've heard before filling out the forms you gotta be truthful in all aspects when it comes to filling out the paper work. Someone told me to send in 4 copies per person for the G325 bio work, All must be originals, no copies or scanns.

Pretty much as i stated earlier there is a check list on this site that'll tell you what you need in regards to sending the paperwork in. =) Good luck and hope this helps you out a bit.
