About the packet received from consulate

hi

my visa is a spouse visa i had my interview in mumbai consulate. and received my passport and other documents sealed in yellow envolope but one corner of yellow envolope has a cut and the documents inside are stapaled with the letter that they have placed on the yellow packet, i just wanted to know why have they made that cut on the corner of the envolope??? it is how it comes???

Our envelope arrived completly sealed with no cuts.

Perhaps one of the machines that your postal system uses has damaged the envelope.

Postal machines are designed not to damage letters/packages but once in awhile they get jammed and damage letters.
