My boyfriend is an Indian citizen. We recently found out that his previous marrige in India is not recognized by the courts. Problem is, his current B1/B2Visa states that he is married. Will an affidavid/documentation from the Indian courts stating that he is not legaly married be recognized by the US Embassy and allow us to move forward to start working on our K-1 Visa?
