Police Clearance Certificates in India- Pls Advice for K1

Hello All,

Would appreciate thoughts from all here.

We are preparing for K1 consular processign papers and need to clarify doubts about "Police Clearance Certificates".

Following is information about my residency after age 16 in chronological order.

1996-1998 Indore
1994- 1996 Bangalore ok

==> My Latest Passport Issued in Calcutta has Calcutta Address.

I am totally confused:

Q1) Do I just need from a) Local Police Station in Bangalore AND b) Passport Office of Bangalore
OR
a) ) Local Police Station in Bangalore AND b) Passport Office of Calcutta AND
c) Local Police station of Calcutta AND d) Local Police Station of Indore AND
e) Passport Office of Bangalore ?


Q2) Is it OK to apply for K1 in Bangalore as I am currently residing there, and my passport was issued in Calcutta ??? or u think i should get my address on passport changed to address of bangalore?????

Please suggest and advice, as its really confusing.
