Question on interview in Nepal... before packet arrived

I am looking at an interesting situation in Nepal; my fiance is Katmandu right now and has been collecting all of her necessary documents like medical and police report in anticipation of interview... with a friend who is a US resident married to an American, they have been to the US embassy twice now and have spoken with a local worker that has said she can go in and pay the $131 fee and get an interview next week; however, in checking with the national visa center, although the visa was approved 3/1, they just received it a couple of days ago and it has not gone out to KTM... any ideas? Thanks!

time to call the embassy

I believe you need to call the embassy to set an apointment for an interview next there should be a case number you recieved from nvc (if you recieved it ) and you need papers and medical before appointment just my take on it!
