I am at the six step stage with electronic consular service. we have paid the fee but it still say ds260 in June it still says action required : pay fee. How long does it take to show up. In the list it says a week now its almost four months. what do I do ?

Da-260 is wrong form for a k1. Ds-160 is the right form. Normally fee is collected by embassy. -
The k1 visa is the first step in getting married to a foreigner and living together in the United States. The k1 visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows foreigners to travel to the United States and get married to a United States citizen. Till now, if you had applied for a k1 visa then you would have been asked to fill out an application form (DS-160) and pay a fee online. You would have had to submit your application form and pay online. But now the procedure has changed, and the US consulate or embassy can collect the fee from you after the interview. So you will have to sit for an interview at the embassy or consulate of your country. Then you need to pay $165 as a processing fee and then send your documents for approval by mail.
