Hello,
I met my now fiance while studying in the US.
After I graduated in March, my OPT started on May 15th and I did not receive my EAD card immediately even though it was approved in April itself. I finally received it on October 24th after months of complaints and requests for expediting. I left the US on Jan 21st within 90 of not being able to find a full-time job since I received my card. ( I was volunteering unpaid in my field at this time ).
Now, that I'm applying for my K-1, would this be considered an overstay? could my application get rejected?
Sravya.
