  • I129F Approval Notice..What happens next???

    Hi Everyone,

I just received an email from USCIS indicating that the I129F has been approved and a notice has been mailed! I'm so excited, but I'm oblivious to what happens next?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

They send you paper work to the NVC and then it is forwarded to the appropiate embassy.

When I got the 129F approval notice, I sent my fiancee the affidavit of support and got her started on gathering the appropiate supporting documents and translations that she would need. Check your fiancee's embassy website for what they want from your fiancee.

This was for a K-1 VISA
My Fiancee arrived here on a K-1 VISA.
    Conditional GreenCard has been received.

I have a post up with the current time line of my paperwork. Check it out =D. It shouldn't be too long, mine took all of 4 months. My service center was California.

I think it took about two weeks to get to the NVC and another week to get to the embassy. I am not sure exactly when the paperwork hit the embassy as her native country's mail is slow and my fiancee delayed the interview (she wanted me to be there).

            similar question

How long did it take you for all of that to happen. My husband and I filed a fiance visa K1. It's been 4 months now. Once you heard for the paperwork, how many months did it take to get the interview?!?!

                I-129f & I-130 Visa's

                To whomever:

                Needing some good sound advice..

My wife is in the Philippines and we were married back in February. I sent in the I-130 with G-325a form to Chicago lock-box and recieved a receipt letter.
Next, I sent in an I-129f to Vermont NVS and recieved the receipt letter for the fiance'/spouse visa.

                Questions are:

                1) Can I send in the I-864 and to which processing center do I send it to? Also I will send to my wife all of the documents and signed I-864 form for her interview.

                2) My wife has not had her vaccination shots so I have advised her to go ahead and get them before her medical exam because they will just tell her to go and get them also and come back later. Is this the best advise or should she wait for the exam?

                3) Is it ok that I send in copies of transactions sent to my wife in the last few months around 7,000USD? I figured it would demonstrate that I am the one who is supporting her.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to expedite this process. I am going absolutely crazy here being without her.

Thank you & God Bless all who is in the same boat as me..

                Dan
