Hello All!
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read and any/all responses are greatly appreciated.
I wanted to know what happens to the Visa process if the US Embassy in the Beneficiary's country closes?
As there is currently protests/turmoil in various parts of the world such as Hong Kong, Lebanon, Chile, etc... it is not uncommon for the Embassy to temporarily close for safety measures. That said, what happens to the case/process if the Embassy does in fact close? Is it placed on hold or can the case be transferred to a neighboring country's US Embassy?
Again, thanks in advance!
