  • Help with fiance visa, not sure what I'm doing

Hey just looking for some help here on how to correctly complete the process. Me and me fiance have already submited our application at the end of january. And at the end of last month they sent a request for evidence notice to me. And today when we were going over all the papers that were sent in and reading online about everything online. We are now worried that we did some other things wrong that haven't notified us about yet. Is it ok to send them everything last thing in again or only send what they requested?

Did you send any evidences about your relationship such as emails, letters, telephone bills, pictures take together, receipts of gift, money sending to your fiance, etc... ? I think they need the proofs of you relationship. I sent my application forms with all evidences above since January 2010 and I got approve letter last week May 2010. Good luck to you.

yes, you should send evidences of relationship to them. When your fiance go to interview must bring all evidences again to show in interview day. Good luck.

Actually, time line process to approve from USCIS is 5 months. After your application approved you will receive a letter notice with form I797 indicated your case has sent to NVC. For 2 weeks to 4 weeks later, NVC will send a letter to you about your case has sent to US Embassy or US Consular in your fiance country. From there, your fiance will be do a lot paperwork and will be setup for interview. This time line about 4 months for complement or longer depend on your US Embassy/Consular overthere. You can check your status on :

When you say "Actually, time line process to approve from USCIS is 5 months." What exactly do you mean approve? Does that mean she will have her visa by then? And when you did your petition, did you have a request for evidence? I really appreciate your help with information your providing. And what will take 4 months to complete at the embassy?

My fiance's country is Vietnam. It took only 3 months for USCIS to approve I-129F instead of 5 months as indicated on USCIS website. Currently, my case is sent to NVC and I'm waiting NVC sends notice letter when my case come to US Consular in Vietnam. When I get more information, I'll update for you sharing.
