Just sent paperwork off a week afo

Hi everyone, Noob here. I've tried using the search feature but get no results. Has anyone recently gotten a K-1 visa for a fiance in the UK? I'm looking for a time frame. The general time tables on both coasts' processing centers say 5 months, but I know that's not always the case, based on the country they're coming from, etc.

I've not received any word since the paperwork was fedexed. What happens next? I've got an atty, but trying to get information from her overworked office is a little hard at the moment. Is there a way I can look online to find out the status of things?
