    Hi,

I am married to a US citizen and currently I have a conditional green card which is to be renewed next year. I was sponsored by my father in law. So would I require his sponsorship again to renew my green card till I get my citizenship?

I am asking this because he might not be interested in signing any paper again.

    Thanks

You'd be better served getting legal opinion on this. However, let me throw my 2 cents for what it is worth.

Seems to me, logically, once you get a conditional green card (as one who was petitioned for by someone else (usually a spouse), the renewal of that card (and by extension, the petition itself), would require a now disinterested party to help you out. Since, you indicate that you may not have that privilege/access anymore, I'd reiterate what I said at the outset - you need a professional to comment on your situation.

      Good luck.
