  • Can I bring my Father to United States from Phillipines

I am from Philippines & I got married to an American man in May 2019. Then in June 2019 I was legally allowed to work in US & got a good job with American Homes For Rent.
I want to ask if anyone here know how I can bring my father from Philippines to live with my husband & me here in America ? Do I have to fill in special forms or does my new husband have to fill in forms for this to happen ?
Thank you for any help you can give me.

You cannot petition your father unless you're a US citizen. You will have to wait until you're granted US citizenship (if you go this route). Right now, your father can apply for a host of other visas on his own, but nothing that you can petition him directly for.
Since you're married to a US citizen, you only have to wait 3 years before being able to apply for naturalization.
    --Good luck--
Good luck. I learned the hard way, I hope you don't have to. Immigration is interesting. Not considered as legal advice.
