How long does it take for NVC to procces K1 petitions? And how do you check the progess they are making there?

depends to be honest. Mine took about 3 weeks, then they notified me that it was being forwarded to my fiances consulate. I have a dateline of the events and how long it took. Check it, =) its one of my posts which should be up still, just gotta look for it. -

there are some on this website. My timeline is pretty straight forward with the events that took place. From the time i submitted my 129 to the time they forwarded my stuff to NVC till the time they notified me of my fiances interview.Comment

On what month did you file your petition? And on what month was your fiance's interview.Comment

in Most cases, it take 1 month after approval of I-129f till it arrives at the consulate of the benificary home country.Comment

I filed 129 at end of Jan. She was interviewed end of April, arrived in the states May 4thComment

After exactly 1 week nvc has approved out petition and has sent it to moscow.

Does any body know what docuements my fiance can start gathering together before the embassy sends the first packet to her? We dont want to waste anytime. Thanks for the help.

are two of the ones you really want to get ready as those might take some time. For my fiance, she is taiwanese but she spent the last eight years in China so she needed a Police certificate from China as well as Taiwan, so she had to buy a plane ticket and fly to china just to get her certificate.
As for you, id say get the affidavit of support ready as those might take some time if you're trying to figure out your income and what nots. The other forms that you have to fill aren't that bad. As well as the ones she has to fill aren't as bad either.Comment
