  • K-1 Delays?

My I-129F was approved 40 days ago, March 20, but I’ve heard nothing from NVC, even though their web page says they are already processing cases received in April. Can’t make progress without a case number and I can’t get any information from them other than, basically, “you’ll hear from us when you hear from us.” Anyone else experiencing this?? Anyone know what’s going on?

The NVC takes 4-6 as it is in normal times. So, you'll definitely have to give it a bit more time because you're still within normal processing time.
But, I'm keeping up with the reports from people on who's getting approved and who's slowing down. As of right now, it looks like the NVC is processing K visa applicants but very slowly. Even to the point of non-existent. Technically, they say they're open and indeed some people have said that their I-129F packets got shipped to the embassy recently.
So, we don't know other than we have to wait for the covid-19 situation to die down.
I'm assuming you've tried to contact them?
    --Good luck--
Good luck. I learned the hard way, I hope you don't have to. Immigration is interesting. Not considered as legal advice.
