Is it possible for my Venezuelan partner to get a Fiance Visa?

Hello,

So me and my partner (we are a gay couple) we live in Colombia and so far he doesn't have a passport from Venezuela (his home country) because the process will take years with the current climate.

From my understanding, because of the issues in Venezuela, it can take my finance and other Venzuelans up to five years to get a first-time passport under the current political climate Speed Test Solitaire essay writer in Venezuela. You can apply for the K1 but he will still need a valid passport, tell him to ask for an extension. Both you and your fiancé must be single and eligible to be married under U.S. law. (This means that same-sex couples are eligible for the K-1 fiancé visa, whether or not the foreign spouse's home country recognizes same-sex marriages.)

Unfortunately, without a passport, he's not able to travel out.
Have you inquired into visiting the Venezuelan consulate in Colombia? do they provide any assistance in expediting the passport process?
Or is it possible for your partner to acquire Colombian citizenship and get a Colombian passport? I remember recently someone else had a similar situation in this forum. Perhaps you should look into this, too. Regardless of the method you choose, being a gay couple doesn't make a difference in the K visa process.
