  • Have a question on I 129f

A marriage is a marriage and a divorce is a divorce, which in my opinion makes her divorced.. They were legally married and had to go to court to end the marriage.. A lawyer can answer this legally, but from what I'm reading there are so many lawyers out there just for money and do nothing.. If you put down single and add the annullment papers, that could raise a flag! If you put single and at the interview it comes out she was previously married, that can be cause to deny the visa.. Is there a problem producing the papers? This is just my opinion..

Is she married now? If not, then the answer is "single." If you put anything but single on the I-129F, then she is not "free to marry" and is not eligible for the K1 visa.
