Will they send me a receipt or case #?

    Thanks! Lauren

    Patience

Oh yes I am excited but I understand it will take time.

Good thing I will be with him in Aug for two weeks and then again in Sept for 3-4 months.

I just want to be on top of everything so that's why I want to get the case number.

    Thanks!

When you get the case number from the receipt you can sign up for Email alerts on the USCIS website.

You will still get the letters in the mail but you get the Email a few days earlier. I know when I left the USA to visit my fiancee I felt better knowing that I would get the Email, and not let a letter rot at the post office while I was having a good time.
My Fiancee arrived here on a K-1 VISA.
      Conditional GreenCard has been received.
