wondering just how long it takes

Approval from USCIS. It is now being sent to nvs. Started on 3/26/10 got letter yesterday. The kids and I are here in Mexico for summer vacation. We have to be home 8/23/10 just wondering if there's any chance he will get to come home with us? And what do I do now?
