Hallow dear friends, I need advice.....

I am US Citizen filed petition for my kids and received approved letter from INS saying my petition was sent to National Visa Center..
I was told by frens that we have to do DNA test when we brings children to USA, which is very expensive...
when do we have to do that test? Is it in USA OR India ????? How much we have to pay for that test ?..
Need advice..appreciat it..

You will do that only if there is a doubt about the family relationship.

Most of the times, the birth certificate of the child will work.

dear friends..
I have one more question, as soon as i get letter from uscis mentioning my petition(I-130) is approved and document re farwarded to NVC..so, Can I apply Green Card for my father????? inorder to save time.
