  • K1 visa and moral turpitude

My fiance was convicted 4 yrs ago using a uninsured vehicle in her home county of England and was given a fine and had penalty points put on her license. Is this considered moral turpitude and will this cause problems in getting a K1 visa??

It may do but all you can do is try with your 129f petition and be open and honest.
    best of luck

In the UK, the embassy will want the legal court record of the case at the interview, so plan on ordering that in advance. It's probably not moral turpitude and there are waivers, so it's not going to be an issue. Be honest and upfront about it rather than try to hide it. Start working on the paperwork about the case from the court . Otherwise your approval will be put on hold while you get the document after the interview.
