I completed my medical this morning and I am very worried as to the fact that the doctor focused almost completely on my drinking habits and history with the police which is incredibly minor and over 10 years ago as a teen. Has anyone else experienced this? I spent more time in the waiting room than anything else. An overall very horrible experince that I was not expecting or prepared for.

You sound as though this was your first ever visit to a Dr! Keeping you waiting is their game. Adds to their sense of self importance.

As far as the other stuff goes, Pediatricians are asking parents if they have guns in their homes. More assaults on our right to bear arms. Not if the kid has allergies, or other medically pertinent facts.
