K-1 Fiancee visa needs police certificate from china

hello,

I found out today that one the required documents that my fiancee has to provide for the interview is other country police certificate. However, this is the only document that she may not be able to produce. She worked in China as a teacher for 2 years and the employer that hired her no longer exists due to complaints and legal issues. Note, my fiancee has no criminal record what so ever.

If my fiancee is not able to produce this police certificate from China, will this prevent her from getting her interview and her visa? are there any exceptions in this case

Is there a way that my fiancee can obtain this police certificate from China?

Ron,

My fiance studied in Nanjing for 8 years prior so i have some insight. Honestly, the police cert for her wouldn't go through her employer. From what i remembered, she contacted some people at the police station and they directed her parents to where to pick up her cert and bring it back to TW. If you're not in too much of a hurry, i can ask my wife where she went and how she went about doing so. I'll get back to you as soon as i can buddy.
