I'm currently engaged to a girl who I've been dating online in the Philippines. She is transgender and recognized as male in her country, not sure that makes a difference or not. I know there is the method of using the K1 Visa which requires me to make flight out to the Philippines to see her but to due my job schedule, I would lose it if I flew out there to see her. Can anyone advice me on how we could apply to get her here for marriage without me making an overseas trip? I can afford the plane tickets, I just don't have a way to get time off. Realistically, there is NO visa he/she could apply for and receive...a tourist would require he/she convince a CO that he/she would return...and the PI has an extremely poor track record with those Filipino/as who got a B2 but somehow 'forgot' to return...a K1 requires that both parties have met in person...citing mere inconvenience won't work..everyone could claim that...
