You thread doesn't make much sense to me, I'm thinking you need to put more information in your thread.

The reason I say this is because the AFF (I-864) is something that would be completed by the sponser of the benificary and that would be completed and sent to the NVC before any interview would take place, there are certain steps involved and you are describimg yours a little backward.

    something like this

    file I-129 & I-130
wait for NOA1 (notice of approval)
    wait for NOA2
might get an RFE at this stage (request for more information)

the next stage would be the I-864 and the I-3032 along with the I-230

See how many forms there are and how complicated it looks, I still get confused with it and I'm sitting on my hands waiting for my medical and interview to be with my wife.

I would suggest you do a little more home work on the state.gov sites and the USCIS sites, Google is a very good tool for this as you probably know.

The one thing I will say to you is, get this right because they are very strict on the form filing, filling and order of submitance.

All the best and remember study study study

Most consulates require the I-130 for a fiance visa. BUT each consulate has their own local preferences of the visa/interview part so it's best to find the website of that consulate and see if they give you more specific information. There are a few, I seem to recall, that prefer the I-864. You will do the I-864 when she files for her green card after you marry.
