Leaving after marriage on fiance visa

Hello. If my fiancé comes on the K-1 visa and we marry within the 90 days, but he has to leave before he is issued the advanced parole will he be allowed back into the US? If he is denied re-entry, is our marriage still valid and can I then apply for a marriage visa since we did marry but he had to leave on emergency?
