Applying for K1 when rejected H1B with 221g

I want to find out if there is any red flag that I should be aware while applying for a K1 visa after being denied a H1B renewal with a 221g.

When I was working in the US on a H1B, I met my fiancee, (we have been together for 2 years now).

I had returned to come home to get my H1B renewed, but got denied via the 221g.

Will this affect my K1 visa, on reasons of "potential immigrant" or on any other unforeseeable reasons.

A K1 is a "potential immigrant" so that reason wouldn't be used against you. They know fiance's are entering the US to get married and stay in the US.

as far as I know there is a seperate box on app that asked if youve ever been denied a visa and why it is ok tell the truth check yes ect. you will need alot of evidence of an ongoing relationship with your partner I sugest among other thing many hand written and dated letters good luck ohhhh one more thing I picked out of there you and your fiancee/fiance must have met in person with in the last 2 years regaurds
