K-1 Fiance Visa
Hello Everyone,
I have been reading multiple forums regarding AP processing....
My fiance was interviewed on september 20th 2010... and he was put under administrative processing..
We did everything correct in order for the petition to get accepted and everything happened very quickly up until the interview when he was asked to wait for 2-3 months for AP. same green paper that most people receive.
His interview went well, he was not asked to show our engagement photos ( i am guessing because i attached them with the packet when i applied for the petition). they asked him basic questions nothing out of the ordinary..
My main concern is: With some people at the time of the interview, they return the paper work and take away the passport. My Fiance was only given his original birth certificate and nothing else..
I was wondering if that's any kind of signal? good/bad?
whenever i call DOS they tell me everything looks good/nothing is missing but it's still in processing...
unfornately, up until very late i was not aware of the AP processing so my family and i went ahead and made arrangements for the wedding in december here in USA, California... he also quit school over there, hoping to come here right after the interview...
any input on this would be very helpful..
they also asked him to bring, DS 157 and DS156 on the day of the interview, although i submitted both forms with the packet...
what does that mean?
