It seems like there might be some confusion in the forms you've mentioned. The correct form for petitioning a fiancé(e) to come to the United States for the purpose of marriage is the Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e). This form is commonly associated with the K-1 visa, which allows the foreign fiancé(e) of a U.S. citizen to enter the U.S. for the purpose of getting married within 90 days of arrival.

However, you mentioned that you filed the Form I-29F, which doesn't exist. It's possible that there was a typo or misunderstanding in the form number. If you've submitted the wrong form, this could be a reason for the lack of updates or information you're receiving.

You did not file the wrong form. Form I-129F is the Petition for Alien Fiancé(e). It is the first step in the process of obtaining a K-1 visa for your fiancé(e).

The processing time for Form I-129F is currently 12-18 months. This is longer than the 5-6 months that you were expecting. However, the processing time can vary depending on a number of factors, including the workload at the USCIS service center where your petition is being processed.

You mentioned that you filed your petition on February 14, 2022. This means that your petition has been in process for over a year. This is not unusual, as the processing time for Form I-129F has been longer than average for some time now.

If you have not received any updates on your petition in over a year, you can contact USCIS to inquire about the status of your case. You can do this by calling the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 or by creating an online account and submitting a case inquiry.

I understand that you may be frustrated by the long processing time, but it is important to be patient. USCIS is working hard to process all petitions as quickly as possible.

Here are some tips for checking the status of your Form I-129F petition:
        • You can check the status of your petition online using the USCIS Case Status Checker.
        • You can also check the status of your petition by calling the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283.
        • If you have created an online account, you can also check the status of your petition by logging in to your account and clicking on the "My Cases" tab.

If you have any questions or omeglz or online2yu concerns about your Form I-129F petition, you should contact an immigration attorney.
