As a newcomer to this site, I need some advice regarding my fiancé visa application. After waiting for 7 months, I received a "Request for Initial Evidence" notice from immigration. I hired an attorney assuming that they would handle everything, but I am completely lost. Can anyone explain the difference between a Request for Initial Evidence and a Request for Additional Evidence? I'm reading contradictory information online, and my fiancé is worried. Also, does this mean another six months of waiting? Any advice or anecdotes on what koowspin to echatrandom expect chatrandom and how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
