My K1 Application was just approved by USCIS and forwarded to NVC. Please we have not heard anything from NVC via Mail. And its almost 2 months since USCIS approved application. Though they emailed me the case number.
When we check the status on the state.gov website we get
"K visas are nonimmigrant visas that assist spouses or future spouses of American citizens in entering the United States. As with all nonimmigrant visa applicants, a DS-160 must be filled out in order for a consular section to process the case.

Are we required to complete a DS-160?

Relax, a 2-month wait after USCIS approval is normal for NVC. Their processing times vary.

Yes, NVC will schedule your fiancée's interview. You've already completed the DS-160 (during the USCIS petition stage). NVC will instruct you when further documents are needed.
