  • Fiance visa/marriage??

Please can anybody offer any advise, I have been with my boyfriend for two years, he in the US and I in UK, we have made several visits to each other lasting between one week and three months during our time together.

We both work in our respective countries but either of us would be happy to move to the others country, we just don't know the best way around it as obviously wherever we are we both need to work in order to live.

At this point in our realationship we are happy to marry, be engaged to marry etc just be together and commit long term.

Hope somebody has some idea, not been to an immigration lawyer yet, would this be best??

You need to look up 129F petition for fiance or you can get married in UK or US and then file CR1 spousal visa which is cheaper and takes about the same time as a K1 visa (fiance visa)If you marry in US you would then return to Uk while application gets approved or he can file 129f now in US and then you would have interview in UK and get visa and then you travel to US and must be married within 90 days of arrival.
129f petition costs $340 now I think it is and then after you marry you apply for AOS (adjustment of status) cost $1070 now, and you have to wait for EAD authority to work. Where as if you go spousal route you are able to work upon arrival as Green card is issued straight away in passport. Look at the guides on here as well.
