  • AOS Interview Document Questions

We received the instruction form for the AOS interview, but I don't understand some of the document requirements:

    1. "All documentation establishing your eligibility for Lawful Permanent Resident status". I have no idea what this is, does anyone else?

    2. "Original and copy of each supporting document that you submitted with your application. Otherwise, we may keep your originals for our records." Does this mean I have to submit every document with the application again, or is this simply a warning that if I want to keep an original I should make my own copy? I had already assumed they would keep everything I sent them anyway.

    3. I remember reading somewhere once that you may need the I-797C Notice of Action forms again. I kept all of them, should I bring them all to the interview?

Brain as I didn't have an interview my understanding is that the doc for eligibility would be copy of you 797 approval 129f petition, and AOS receipt, your passport with k1 visa in it. The whole packet you sent in with you AOS. the originals and copies of b/c, marriage cert and so on not the forms as they have them. Tax returns and such. I am pretty sure that's what they mean as others have told me on another site.
