Hi folks,
I am an Amercan citizen and my fiancee is from Monterrey, Mexico.
I am very happy to say we received our NOA2 confirmation yesterday from the California Processing Center.
I figured I would give our timeline so far to those still waiting:
Jan. 20, 2011- USCIS confirmed receiving our I-129.
Mar. 4, 2011- I received a text message from USCIS saying there was an update to our status. Online there was no info given. Just internal processing I guess.
May 12, 2011- Text message received from USCIS that there was an update to our status. I quickly checked our case online and it said "Post Decision Activity" and went on to say that our I-129 was approved and more instructions were mailed out to us.
I have another friend going through the process as well and once they received NOA2, it was around 2 months before the consolate interview. So, we are hoping she will be in the US late summer/early fall. VERY HAPPY! Best of luck to all of you! This site rocks!
