London Embassy interview

Does anyone know if handbags (purses) are allowed at the Embassy when you have your K1 Visa interview? And what do you do if you have a cell phone? Will they hold it for you?

Oh, and is the visa fee paid before the interview (on Operator Assitance phone) or at the Embassy?

Yes you can take in a handbag. No huge shopping bags or suitcases. Check your electronics (phones, car key fobs, iPods, jump drives) at Gould's Pharmacy for a fiver. They are on N. Audley St. just steps from where you queue up to get in the embassy. They open by 7:30 am.

Yes pay the visa in advance by phone. They email you a receipt that you take to the interview.
